Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 10, 2025
Welcome to Right Flooring London Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using our website (www.rightflooringlondon.co.uk) (the “Website”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our Website.
SECTION 01
1.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website.
1.2. You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others.
1.3. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website without prior notice.
2. Products and Services
2.1. All product descriptions and images, displayed on our Website are for informational purposes only and may be subject to change without notice.
2.2. We strive to ensure accuracy; however, we do not guarantee that all product descriptions, colours, or prices are error-free.
2.3. Orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
2.4. The hand samples and display boards are intended primarily as a reference - mainly for colour and don’t fully represent the exact colour or grade of the final product.
2.5. The colour and consistency of products, which may vary from samples and change as a result of the passage of time.
2.6. Variations in flooring colour occur naturally due to factors such as wood species, age, grain patterns, and exposure to UV light or sunlight. As a result, new or replacement flooring may not perfectly match display samples or existing flooring.
2.7. Natural wood characteristics—including differences in grain, colour, mineral streaks, knots, and variations between samples or batches—are not considered defects. Additionally, changes in colour over time due to aging, moisture, or exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet rays (which can cause oxidation of the finish or stain) are a normal occurrence and not classified as defects.
2.8. Engineered hardwood is a natural product, and its colour and structural variations will evolve over time. The shade of wood can change with age and exposure to light, with lighter woods typically darkening and darker woods lightening, particularly within the first three to four months. Home lighting and direct sunlight both contribute to this process. To minimise uneven colour changes, area rugs should be rotated periodically, as they block sunlight and can create noticeable differences in the flooring beneath. Thermal-blocking carpets are not permitted.
2.9. Differences in colour, shade, or texture between samples, printed images, replacement flooring, and actual materials—as well as variations between different product batches or other elements such as cabinets, stair railings, and trim—are inherent characteristics of flooring and natural wood and are not considered defects.

4.2. Order Cancellations & Changes:

* Any request to change the colour or material after order confirmation will require an additional fee.
4.3. Post-Installation Responsibility:
* Once the flooring has been installed, which indicates product acceptance and that the client is happy with the products, meaning any decision to replace it due to a change of preference regarding colour or material will be at the client’s expense.
* If the client is dissatisfied with the colour or material they originally selected upon order confirmation, Right Flooring London Ltd is not responsible for replacing it, provided that the installation was completed to a good standard by our team.
SECTION 05
5.1. Damages During Installation:
While our team exercises great care during the installation process, Right Flooring London Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage to wall coverings, skirting, wall paint, painted doors, trim, or any other surrounding surfaces that may occur during the uplifting, fitting, or transportation of flooring materials within the property. We advise clients to take necessary precautions, such as protecting delicate surfaces and removing valuable items from the work area, before installation begins.
5.2. Defective Materials:
* Any defective material must be reported within 24 hours of the job's completion to allow our team to investigate the issue and liaise with the manufacturer for a prompt resolution.
5.3. Door Trimming After Carpet Installation:

5.4. Furniture Moving & Old Flooring Disposal:
* Uplifting and disposing of old flooring, as well as moving furniture, is an additional service that will be quoted separately.
* We do not move heavy items, including grand pianos, fridges, or appliances. Our uplift service only includes standard furniture.
* We are not liable for any damages or accidents that may occur to furniture during the moving process.
SECTION 06
6.1. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the installation area is clear, dry, and ready for flooring installation. Any delays caused by improper site conditions (e.g., damp subfloors, unlevel surfaces, or obstructions) may result in additional charges.
6.2. We do not conduct subfloor preparation unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. If additional work is required (such as screeding or plywood installation), this will be charged separately.
SECTION 07
7.1. Wood, laminate, and LVT flooring naturally expand and contract due to temperature and humidity changes. This is not considered a defect, and Right Flooring London Ltd is not responsible for any damage caused by flooring expansion, movement, or dampness. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure proper indoor conditions to prevent excessive movement or moisture-related issues.
SECTION 08
8.1. Stair nosings and trims are installed according to manufacturer specifications. Any additional work required (such as custom trimming or modifications to stair edges) must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.
SECTION 09
9.1. After installation, the flooring may contain dust, adhesives, or minor residue. Clients are responsible for carrying out a first clean before regular use.
9.2. Heavy furniture should not be moved onto the flooring immediately after installation. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before placing heavy objects to allow the flooring to settle properly.
SECTION 10
10.1. We are not responsible for any damage caused to the flooring by third-party tradespeople (e.g., decorators, plumbers, electricians) after installation.
10.2. If repairs or replacements are required due to damage caused by another contractor, the client will be responsible for all associated costs.
SECTION 11
